Uptimr

About the Uptimr monitoring bot

If you found this page via a User-Agent header in your server logs, someone is using Uptimr to monitor one of your services — most likely a customer of yours, or your own team.

What is Uptimr?

Uptimr is an uptime, system and status page monitoring service. Customers add a URL, and Uptimr periodically checks it from one or more of our worker nodes to measure availability and response time.

Why am I seeing these requests?

A request with the User-Agent below is a routine, low-frequency health check (typically every 30–300 seconds from a single location) — not a crawler, scanner or attack. It does not submit forms, follow links or execute JavaScript; it only requests the configured URL and inspects the status code and, optionally, response body or an SSL certificate.

How to block or identify these requests

You can match on the User-Agent string to allow, block, or exclude these checks from analytics:

User-Agent: Uptimr-Monitoring/*.* (+https://uptimr.net/bot)
