Frequently asked questions
What counts as a "service"?
A service is anything Uptimr checks periodically — a website, an API endpoint, a keyword match on a page, or a raw TCP port. Each one you add counts toward your plan’s service limit.
What’s the difference between a service and a system?
A service is something a worker node checks from the outside (HTTP, ping, port, keyword). A system is your own server running the companion agent, reporting its own CPU, memory, disk and network usage directly.
What happens if I go over my plan’s limits?
You can keep existing monitors running, but you won’t be able to add new services, systems or status pages until you upgrade or remove some.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer a free trial of paid plans?
